The ever-popular Jelly Roll Rug has hit Nancy's Fibre Art Shop! There is nothing nicer than stepping out of the shower onto a nice soft and absorbent carpet. The jelly roll rug is very functional (for any location really) soft and very pretty to look at. You will need a pattern, 1 jelly roll, and some batting strips! You are welcome to purchase a pre-cut jelly roll or cut the strips yourself. This project requires a working sewing machine that does a straight stitch and a wide zigzag stitch- nothing else! It is a great beginner sewing project. 2 afternoons - 3 hours each. Come early to select your supplies as these disappear quickly! You will learn how to make one oval rug- but if the curiosity strikes, we can do rectangle or round shapes too! The oval rug finishes approx 27" x 42". We made ours up in Kaffe Fassett prints and the colours and patterns are rich and vibrant. A great way to cheer up your day!
